Walking School Bus will no longer be meeting at Edru this year. We will start up again (location to be determined) in the Spring. Everyday walkers keep walking and turning in your cards! It’s not too late to become an everyday walker. Simply pick up your walking log cards from the office and start walking!
How does it work?
Students and their parents agree to accept the challenge by signing the Every Day Walker pledge and following the established rules. To participate in the Challenge students must walk or ride their bikes at least 95% of the time or a minimum of 171 days.
Students will use the Walking School Bus Cards to track their days and have them signed & dated by a qualifying adult. Please pick up the WSB Cards in the office. Those adults that can sign cards are parents or guardians, grandparents/aunt/uncles, teachers or school staff. Completed cards should be turned into the school secretary at the completion of every 20 days of walking or biking to school!!! This is essential for WSB Coordinators to know who is still participating. If at some point during the school year your student decides not to continue with the program, please contact your Building WSB Coordinator. Click on the link below to download the WSB Pledge.
PTO received a check in November for $406.40 so please keep clipping them out and sending them in. Thank you!
